Bahar Seçkin, a student at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, won the third prize at the 5th International Kan Film Festival with the theme of Blood Diseases and Blood Donation.

Başkent University Adana Dr. Turgut Noyan Application and Research Center hosted the 5th Kan Film Festival and drew attention to blood diseases and blood donation. The three-day event hosted various activities such as a short film competition, symposium and awareness walk.

On the opening day of the festival, short films emphasizing the importance of blood donation appeared before the jury. Chairman of the jury, Demir Karahan, stated that the aim of the festival is to raise awareness about blood donation. Bahar Seçkin, a student at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, was deemed worthy of the third prize in the festival themed on Blood Diseases and Blood Donation.
