A meeting was conducted on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 10.00 between Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism and Radio, Television and Cinema Department. At this meeting, the new education program of the Department of Journalism was discussed in detail; Ideas were exchanged about new courses planned to be added, especially in the fields of editing, visual communication and design.

The meeting was held under the presidency of Head of Journalism Department Prof. Dr. Şakir Eşitti. Among those who attended the meeting were Head of Radio, Television and Cinema Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuğba Elmacı; Journalism faculty members Assoc. Dr. Serhat Çoban, Res. Asst. Zeynep Ayer Öztok, Res. Asst. Helin Öztürk; Radio, Television and Cinema faculty members Res. Asst. Dr. Gülseren Dinvar Pekşen and Tolga Barman.

At the meeting, the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation and information sharing within the two departments was emphasized and it was stated that inter-departmental cooperation was planned to continue increasingly in the future.
