An internal stakeholder meeting was held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 17.00, between Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism and Department of Communication Sciences. The meeting aimed to increase cooperation and coordination between the Department of Journalism and the Department of Communication Sciences.

At the meeting, the new curriculum draft of the Department of Journalism was examined in detail and the opinions of the Department of Communication Sciences were taken. The meeting was held under the presidency of Head of Journalism Department Prof. Dr. Şakir Eşitti ;and Head of Communication Sciences Prof. Dr. Gökhan Gökgöz, Department of Journalism's instructors Doç. Dr. Serhat Çoban, Arş Gör. Zeynep Ayer Öztok and Department of Communication Sciences instructor Doç. Dr. Aslı Soysal Eşitti participated the meeting. The importance of interdisciplinary cooperation and information sharing within the two departments was emphasized and it was noted that inter-departmental cooperation was planned to continue increasingly in the future.
