Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism, visited Boğaz Media Chairman İsmet Akıncı in his office on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 14.30. Department of Journalism Head Prof. Dr. Şakir Eşitti, department members Assoc. Dr. Engin Çağlak and Res. Asst. Zeynep Ayer Öztok attended.

At the meeting, information was exchanged regarding the updating of the Department’s curriculum in the context of the needs of the sector and digitalization. In addition, the problems of local media in Çanakkale and solution suggestions were discussed.

The meeting, where suggestions were shared to improve internship opportunities for students to gain experience, ended after discussions on the production of joint events and projects.
