The field of communication, which is based on the foundations of human history, has a dynamic structure that constantly updates itself with new technologies. The development of the concept of communication in coordination with technology changes day by day and leads to the emergence of new requirements. "Communication", which continues to gain global importance, is one of the most basic needs, and it has the quality of being constantly up-to-date in order to adapt to the era we live in. In this context, there is a need for young and creative individuals who can update themselves in the field of communication, have a command of the latest technologies, and can comprehend both traditional and new media issues.

Among the required competencies in the professionals required in the field of communication is to have developed not only theoretical but also practical knowledge based on practice. As Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Communication, we aim to train the communicators of the future by identifying areas of expertise in line with the needs of the digitalized media industry. Our faculty carries out application-based trainings that will contribute to the development of its students in application areas such as ÇOMÜ Newspaper, ÇOMÜ TV and Campus FM. Our students, who have successfully graduated from our faculty and completed their education life, work in the media sector as "communication specialists". Studies are carried out with great devotion to provide the best education in the application studios of the university to our students who will take place as good communication specialists in the sector. Being aware of the need for communicators in all areas of the world, our aim is to train young communicators who are competent in their profession and make a difference, who have a sense of responsibility towards humanity.
